All I want for Christmas is... DINNER!

Been a long time since posting the last blog. The time is flying past in front of me, indeed.

This year, I'm doing as little as I can for Christmas. Call me a minimalist! Too tired to do anything extra this year, and it's too cold and icy outside. (The coldest winter I've ever experienced in my whole life. So cold that condensation on the windows is all frozen.) So, I decided not to be bothered with many things. No Christmas tree in my house. No baking. All I want is a happy time with my girls during this festive season. So, I have stocked up some DVDs and food.

However little I prepare for Christmas, the dinners will be made properly, of course. You'll never keep me and food apart from each other, you know. This year, we will have turkey on the Christmas Day, and ham for the Boxing Day. Pretty standard dinner menus in UK/Ireland, indeed.

But we will be eating soba and watching "Life of Brian" on the New Year's Eve, which is my family tradition for the past 3 years. Then, we will welcome the New Year while watching Jools Holland's show on BBC 2. Perfect.
