I've got a boy's hairstyle

Earlier this week, my big girl went to the library and borrowed some books, one of which was a South Korean comic.

She told me about the story, and she seems enjoying this high school love story. This morning, after she left for school, I found the comic on the living room table, and flicked through a few pages.

Guess what I found in the book? A girl who had a hair exactly the same as my latest style!!! My wee one, who was still getting ready for school, agreed that the hairstyles were the same. So, am I a trendy yummy mummy, or just a pathetic oldie who is dying of mid-life crisis?? You decide.

And here's a shocker: I read another few pages, and found out that this "girl" was actually a boy!!! But to me he looks she certainly... I know that these comics from the Far East always have feminine-looking boys, but... My girl told me that I looked "manly" when I came back from the hairdresser's last month. But this style (with a dark red colour) is the best head-turner so far. It was proved so while a walk in the town, you know. (Or, was it just a freak show??)
