Probably I shouldn't plan anything for the rest of my life

As my wee one needed to buy something, I had promised my parents to phone them, and I wanted to eat home-made pizza, I made a plan for today. No, nothing complicated. Just a "when to do what" list.

My girls went to church with M just after 11:00. Then, at 12:00 I prepared pizza dough, which needed to rest in the kitchen for at least 6 hours. (I know, I know, it's bloody long resting time. But pizza turns out great every time with this recipe.)Then, prepared lunch (easy), and ironed school uniforms, as I always do on Sundays.

After my girls came back at 13:00. They told me that they decided to go to a kids' club at church in the early evening and arranged M to pick them up at 18:45, which meant no time for them to eat pizza. (I am keeping the dough in the fridge so that I will be able to bake pizza tomorrow.)After lunch, I was in a rush to wash dirty dishes and pans so that I could phone my parents before 14:00. Why in a rush? Because the shop that my wee one wanted to go opens from 13:00 to 18:00 on Sundays. (Thanks to this country being very Christian, big shops open only for a short period on Sundays. Also, everywhere is dead quiet on Sundays. It's not a law, but nobody does noisy work outside.)

But one phone call from little G, and my wee one changed her mind about going to the shop! Instead, she went to a park with little G and her granny!!! So, no need for me to get ready to go out shopping...

Then, rustled up a light pasta dish for tea. (I'm becoming very good at making "last-minute" pasta meals.) Also I made several pancakes (crepes), whipped cream and made chocolate sauce in advance to eat with strawberries for supper after my girls coming back from church. Looking at me making pancakes, little G was desperate to have some. So, we invited her to have supper with us.

Now I am thinking "Why did I make a plan for today?" This is what I get for being a mother... Pasta and pancakes were yummy, though.
