Can't believe that I am still alive after finishing the toughest translation job this week. Well, I didn't feel as if being in hell during the week, really, thanks to some hysterical laughs that I had from Iris Robinson and some related jokes and TV programmes about her. Still I'm exhausted, but quite proud of myself for moving on to another project without swearing.
While working, I always need some back ground music, but can't stand any vocals. I can't concentrate with work when someone is singing. So, I made up a playlist of instmental music. But strangely, one song is absolutely fine with me, and it is in the playlist. The song is "Cheek to Cheek" by Ella Fitzgerald. The mixture of the lyrics and her voice makes me happy and still capable of working. Amazing. I have another version by Fred Astair, but I can't work with his version. Strange.
So, I'm happily singing along, "Heaven. I'm in heaven..." while being extremely stressed and pressued in front of the computer. Lovely.
Yes, Mrs. Robinson (remember the song) is good entertainment!
