I'm sooooooooooo glad that the school holiday is over at long last! Really really hate this mid-term holiday. As usual, I was shouting (in my mind, of course), "Please, somebody, kidnap me for a couple of hours!" while I was out in the town with my girls. They are not bad girls, but my stress level could go sky-high when I can't have a time for myself for a whole week.
The Halloween night was brilliant. 14 kids came to our house. We gave a bag of 2 lollipops and 2 home-made biscuits each. Half local kids, half foreign kids, all looked happy and enjoying themselves. According to my big girl, I should be the happiest-looking person who opened the door for the trick-or-treaters. But, you know, it's nice to see kids having a harmless fun, and they made some efforts for that evening. The half of them are total strangers, but hey, they are my neighbours after all.
Taped a Korean comedy-horror film "The Host", which was on TV durng the late night/early morning. And all of us watched it on Sunday afternoon. The rating is 15, but the content was OK for my girls. Better than expected, and I like the ending. If it was a Hollywood film, it would be too predictable. And my wee one is getting used to reading subtitles. Good.
