... Biggest Tw*t!
Using the internet this evening, and suddenly the connection was cut off!!! Looking at the BT's Home Hub (= a wireless modem), found the broadband light had turned red, which meant "the broadband is not connected to the Hub).
Not again! The problem was supposed to be resolved last month, you know. Felt sick, imagining dealing with daily phone calls with BT all over again.
Did everything that the user guide said. But no success. So, phoned BT and told about the problem. I really hated this. I can't even make out half the things they were saying because of their very heavy Indian accent. (BUT they were polite and trying to help as much as they could. ) While they were getting in touch with another department, I pushed the reset button on the Hub (for the 4th or 5th time). Guess what? The broadband was back on again!
I told about the connection to them, and they told me that this was a "common" problem. So much for the technology that BT has been boasting about. How dare they make me lose my beauty sleep! I am supposed to be in bed sleeping like a baby right now. Now, my nerves are too excited to go to sleep. Yeah, I should be "grateful" for the connection came back on. But am I paying for this low quality service? I'm tired.
