Sam who??

I have made loads of language cock-ups since starting to learn English. I was even told, "I married you so that I could have a laugh to listening to you talking", which was probably... true... partly.

This evening, I made another one which made my girls (and me) burst into terrible laughing fits. It was...
"Do you fancy SAM HANDWICH?"

No, I wasn't talking about a boy/girl called Sam. I was just asking my wee one if she wanted a ham sandwich for a snack. Pity that I haven't recorded all the stupid things that I mentioned. I could have made some money by writing and selling a book about it. Yes, a comedy book.

    You can actualy buy "handwiches" here.

    It's a small sandwich, easy to eat with just one hand while walking around in a shopping centre...

    I just think the name is silly :-)

    I don't think they have a "Sam" variety, though.
