It was better than the 2nd time, though

It's been very showery recently, becoming more like last year's terrible summer. So, yesterday, as soon as we heard it would be dry in the evening, we decided to have a little barbecue.

This was our 3rd barbecue since we got the little barbecue bucket. We were determined to enjoy it because the 2nd one was far from enjoyable, thanks to an ever-demanding little diva guest.

It was nice. Sausages, prawns, vegetables, potatoes, etc. Nothing extraordinary, but the magic of cooking + eating outside was working. A cat, who is owned by an elderly man in the neighbourhood, came in to join our barbecue. No, not on the top of the barbecue, but we shared some meaty stuff with him.

Then, suddenly J, the next-door granny appeared with chocolate bars for us, telling us the news about Russia and Georgia as if the World War 3 had broken out! (I felt like saying to her, "I'm Japanese, not Georgian.") Also, she left us a concerned voice of "If you feed the cat, it will come back to the garden again and again" as if cats were cockroaches... (I felt like telling her "Tell the old man to keep the cat inside forever.") Thanks for the chocolate bars, but why did we had to listen to those stuff??
