Kilkof killed coughs! (Lovely alliteration.)

My big girl has been coughing quite a lot recently. But she hasn't been ill fortunately. But she coughs day and night, so we nipped in Superdrug (I love the name of the shop. So... Amy Winehouse or Pete Doherty.) for a bottle of cough medicine.

We spend at least 10 minutes to chose one for her. Cough syrups are generally in 2 categories: One for chesty coughs and the other for dry, tickly coughs. My girl told me that she sometimes has chesty coughs but also dry ones!! So, looking for "general" coughs, we found a rather cheap cough medicine called "Kilkof". What a naming!

Back home, my girl took the medicine and said, "It's like swallowing paint" (I don't think she has ever put paint in the mouth!) "It's like drug overdose!!" (Hey, what the hell are you doing outside our house?!), "This gives me an earache!" (Seems that some active ingredients are the cause.), etc. It just simply means that the syrup tastes "medicine", and also that she is healthy enough to moan. The label says "established in 1848". I'm sure she believes that the medicine was created by witches.

By the way, it seems working alright. She coughs much less often this evening.
