A tent in the back garden

Another beautiful day. Put up a tent in the back garden this afternoon for my girls and their friends. 2 kids were playing in the garden first, but there were 4 after an hour.
My wee one and little G were having a dinner at little G's gran's house. But they decided to eat it inside the tent. But soon they came into my house, saying that it was too cold to eat in the tent in the evening. So, they joined our dinner table. (And me ended up washing the gran's plates and cutlery afterwards. Didn't mind.)

Only spoke to him once, but our new neighbour seems happy enough to have us at the next-door. This morning, we went to a supermarket and my wee one told me that he was queuing at a till and waving at us. (I didn't notice him.) And in the evening he gave my wee one £1 at the back of the house. She asked, "Why did you give me this?" and the answer was "Because you are good". Maybe he likes children.
To be honest, feel it strange probably because had never ever expected such a friendly man would move into that house. A daily horoscope in a newspaper was saying about a month ago that my new neighbour would become my very good friend. At that time, the house was empty and there was no sign of anybody being interested in it. So, didn't think much about the strange prediction. But now can see a possibility that we could become his neighbour friends if nothing bad happens in future. So far, my wee one thinks that she has gained an uncle.
Still no chance of saying hello to a girl living with the young man. Maybe she is shy. Maybe she is nervous. We have plenty of time to get to know each other, anyway. No rush.

By the way, had a migraine-free day! Lovely. Only problem I had today was myself who kept thinking that it was Friday.
