Pleasant Saturday for a change

A delivery man knocked the door and gave me my kids' new passports. (Had to sign the paper for receiving them.) Can't believe that the passport applications were processed so quickly. I applied them on Monday and they arrived on Saturday. Some civil servants actually work! (Joking, of course.) Am so impressed with the good swift service that believe that it should be mentioned.

My wee one's classmate came to play with her. They played in the back garden most of the time. Because the Latvian sisters were in the next-door's garden. Nice to hear them playing together. With the voice of the children, good weather and some spring flowers, it's like spring had come earlier.

Heard (read) good news about my friend's sister. Am pleased with her getting what she had been trying to get. And myself got good news from the editor of a poetry mag. (Now am crossing the fingers for myself.) So, somebody will hear good news for him/herself very soon. They say that good things come in three, don't they. (Or do they? Think it is an English saying, but am not very sure...)
