Chatted with my mum on the phone this afternoon. During the conversation, she asked "Haven't you got any nice man?" (In Japanese, of course.) Yes, she definitely means, "Haven't you got any boyfriend?"... And probably she means a man who might become my 2nd husband, not just a lovely man who would go out with me... Oh no.
