M got on a taxi to go to the strain station early in the morning. Later, got a phone call from her to tell me that everything had gone smoothly and she'd checked in at the airport in Belfast. Good. We will miss her.
It was really nice to have her here. 5 days passed so quickly and I didn't have a time to be annoyed with her presence in my house. Now my girls (and I, too) are thinking about when they'll be able to see M again.
The electricity board sent a postcard about a week ago, saying that there'd be some electricity disruption on the 19th from 8am to 6pm. So, I was ready for everything, especially just in case there is a surge after a power cut. I sometimes switched a light or a kettle on just to see if the power is still coming in. No sign of power cut at all. Probably they disconnected the power supply and connected it again during the time I was out between the times I checked the electricity. Good that there was no annoying disruption. But it means that I didn't need to cancel hoovering, baking, using the computer, etc. at all. Annoying.
Extremely tired due to non-stop talking for 5 days. I know, I know, it's only myself to blame, but...
