Went out to a chemist for the photos for my ID badge for the interpretation service. Good that they take photos with digital camera nowadays and it's still rather cheap (only £3.50 for 4). Pity that my passport-size photos for any ID cards always look like a face of wanted criminal. (No, I won't put the photo on the Internet. I don't want to scare anybody. After all, I don't have a scanner, which is a convenient excuse.) I must admit that this time I look OK in the photos, but still I remember that I did look better sometimes in a mirror!
Chatted a bit with a woman who took the photos for me, while waiting for the photos to to developed. I found myself talking about myself more than usual. (Things which are related to the photos, though.) I must be getting old... Some old widows I know in the town do the same too often.
