Continental market

All 3 of us went to the continental market today. Just love different stuff now and again. Only headache is that food stuff are very expensive. For example, a bratwurst with a roll is £3, a crepe with jam is £2.50-3.00, and a small bowl of paella is £4!!! They are truly authentic stuff and they are annual treats for the folks in this town. But we are not millionaires, you know.

But we bought more than we had thought we would. My girls had Dutch waffles with chocolate, cream and sprinkle toppings. Of course I was like a vulture waiting for them saying to me "Mummy, I can't finish this". My big one had hers cold and my wee one had hers warm. Both were lovely. (Yes, I finished them off.) I bought a packet of flat waffles at the same stall. Then, also bought 4 pieces of Greek baklavas. I just can't resist them and how could I go home without them?? And... my big one bought a cute bag. At an Indian stall, my wee one got a decorative pen and I got a heart-shaped box, which I'll keep my hubby's wedding ring in.

My girls also got face paintings and balloon models for free. Got 2 bags of chips on the way home for lunch. (Yes, we love local stuff, too.)
