Went to the town centre for some messages this morning. As usual, I couldn't finish the messages as smoothly as I wanted. My landlady had given me a wrong account number, so I couldn't pay her the rent at the bank. (The man at the counter was very nice and helpful, though.) And I couldn't find buckwheat flour anywhere... (Should I start growing buckwheat in my back garden??)
But it wasn't a disaster:
I got a bottle of my favourite vanilla musk body spray, which had been out of stock at a chemist for ages. I just can't live without this cheap (£1.99 for 150ml) but gorgeous stuff. (It proves that I'm a genuine cheap date.) I can't believe that so many people waste loads of money on dear perfumes.
And to my surprise, there were 2 Rammstein CDs for sale in a CD shop. (They didn't have any the last time I went there.) I was very tempted to buy one, after the disappointment at the bank and health shops. But they weren't cheap, so I decided to wait until next month and look for lower prices in London.
What is more, I spotted a sign "Steak sausages - only 99p for 1lb" outside my favourite butcher. So, I got some for my neighbour. (A good deed of the day.)
When will I be able to finish my messages according to my plan? Never??
