Felt a bit upset when watching "The Simpsons" yesterday evening. There wasn't anything sad or disgusting in the episode, though. But Homer reminded me of my hubby, you see. The way he mucks about, the way he loves his family, the way he deals (or, cannot deal) with his bad habits, etc. They are like twins!! Of course my hubby was not a village idiot like Homer, but I do understand why Marge never leaves Homer. Lucky woman. (Well, they are just cartoon characters, but...)
The evening did not end with sadness, though. Because I found "sobabouro" recipes on the Internet. I don't know why I hadn't looked for one earlier. One was with butter and the other without. Usually the ingredients list on a packet never mentions butter, so I should try one without butter first. Hope the shops in the town still sell buckwheat flour. Then, I don't need to nag my family to send me a packet or tell my friend, who is going to Japan, what my favourite Japanese snack is. That's if I can make decent ones by myself...
