One night too early, but...

My wee one and 2 of her friends went out for trick-and-treating this evening. Yes, tomorrow is the Halloween night, but we arranged everything in N Irish way. I mean, traditionally, doing a pagan stuff on the sabbath day is something to be frowned upon in this country. (My neighbour told me that she would say "It's Sunday" and close the front door if anyone called at her house tomorrow evening.)
The kids came back with happy faces. So, I'm happy for them. But so far, there is only one other group of kids came to our house, and they were from a house 2 doors up from ours, who had saw my wee one all dressed up in the street. I bet some kids would come tomorrow. There are still some gory-looking homemade biscuits left for them. No, I don't mind them larking about on Sunday. If we won't go to heaven because of having Halloween fun on Sunday, it's not our problem.

Halloween is nearly over, which means that Christmas won't be far away. B****r. If the person who created Father Christmas is in heaven, I will make myself go down to hell!
