Not a bad week so far

Amazing how the marketing team (of the company I work for) can throw tasks at me continuously. I've never breathed easily for at least 3-4 weeks recently. But I must admit that I love this job. This time last year I never ever imagined that I would get involved in online marketing. But I like it. You never know what you are actually capable of until you have a chance to do it. Life is full of surprises.

By the way, I bought 2 light shades with coloured beads on Tuesday. One for my bed room (duck-egg blue) and the other for my kids' (blackcurrant/purple). I always always loved the beaded shade from my favourite film "Trois couleurs: Bleu". My light shade is not as pretty as the one in the film, but it's the closest I can get hold of. I didn't tell my kids that I was going to buy them. So, it was a surprise when they came back from school to find something new in their room.

And today, printer ink cartridges, which I ordered about 10 days ago, finally arrived. The website says "Delivery: 4 to 7 days" but nothing arrived. So, I contacted the company yesterday, and they kindly send another packet for me for free. Guess what? I ordered and paid for one set, and now I have three! Thank you Royal Mail, for this delayed delivery.

Not a bad week so far. Desperately need a good beauty sleep, though.
