They can be pain in the...

Visited the dentist's this afternoon. Actually, this was the third time in two months. Sounds bad, isn't it? The first two times were for a routine check-up and a treatment. (She found a cavity, or I'd developed one.) And today was for a tooth which has been aching for two weeks or so.

I got the tooth checked and X-rayed, and was told that there was no cavity. Hooray! She suspected that a wisdom tooth was pushing the nearby teeth, which was a likely cause for the mild aching.
Anyway, I'm glad that I made this appointment.

One more pain-associated topic.

My next-door neighbour, J, found wasps getting in and out of a tiny space at the side of her front-door canopy (actually it is "our" canopy). She showed me the space, and yeah I would put my money on for finding a queen wasp inside the empty space inside the canopy.

So, she phoned the local council only to find out that the pest control department had closed down recently! She is the owner of the house, so she have to get everything sorted. Fortunately she has a relative who had dealt with a wasps' nest before, so she can get a help.

Lucky that it wasn't my side of the canopy that the wasps are using as their front door. I know, I know, I feel sorry for J for all the hassle. Honestly.
