Mama is listening to Gaga.

We are quite lucky this year, regarding to flights. My wee one and her school mates (plus teachers) flew back home without a hiccup on Friday, which was a day after flights to and from the island of Ireland started operating normally. Poor girl, though, for having to endure the rain and chill everyday during the trip. Now she's got a sore throat, and crawl into my bed at night.

Not much has happened here, apart from me deciding to change my work pattern last night while trying to figure out how to balance work, family and health. So, I set an alarm at 6 in the morning, and start working from 7, which gives me more relaxing time in the evening, which should give me better quality of sleep at night. Goodness know how long I can stick to this new plan, but Day 1 (today) went quite well. It was amazing how good my concentration and efficiency were this morning.

Got a Lady Gaga CD (Fame Monster) a few days ago, and all of us love it. Some parts of the lyrics are rather... awkward when listening to them with my girls. But now I can calmly explain what those words mean, and my girls can understand my explanation, which I think is good because I believe that there we should be able to talk about anything openly. It's kind of weird that I listen to the same music as my girls do. Mid-life crisis? Nah, it just means that I haven't grown up yet.
