Laugh of the week (for Japanese-speaking people)

Busy with work recently. But nice that I can work singing along to songs without worrying who would be listening to my awful singing. (Now, I'm typing and singing along to an Alicia Keys's song, for example.)

Anyway, I was typing away making translation documents in MS Word files a few minutes ago. There were a few funny kanji conversions that Microsoft did automatically. One of them was

Dental materials = しかりこうがく → 叱り工学 (歯科理工学)

I couldn't help imagining an extremely irritated dentist shouting at his assistants and throwing away all those dental equipments in a huff... (in a manner of Basil Fawlty).
