How to decorate a burnt cake without icing

Yes, I baked this cake. It's a chocolate-coconut sponge, which burnt a bit on the top and the side. (Not too burnt.) My birthday girl (the eldest one) didn't want icing, so I panicked for a minute.

But dusting with icing sugar and cocoa powder, drizzling melted dark chocolate, and sprinkling silver balls did the job. My big girl loves contemporary art, so she was pleased to see this "arty" cake.

By the way, it tasted as good as usual.
