Would you expect a person to be your friend when you get no correspondence from him/her for months?
I mean, if the person give you a note saying "Sorry for my long silence but I will write to you some time later" and reply to "Are you doing alright?" questions, he/she must be still happy to be in touch with you. But if there is no reply to any kind of your correspondences, it should mean that he/she should be either dead or doesn't want anything to do with you, don't you think?
Some people seem not being able to understand a meaning of long silence.
Heh. Know that feeling.
