Cut the hedge in the front garden on Wednesday morning. Cut the next-door J's hedge as well. Surprisingly it wasn't tiring as much. Probably because J gave me and our window cleaner tea and biscuits for a break. We chatted quite a lot at her kitchen table.
On Friday, spotted the other side of next-door A cutting his front hedge. My wee one couldn't resist helping him. Nearly finishing, A said to me "I can't do as good as you do". Of course I'm better at it, but of course couldn't say such a cheeky thing to him. But nice to hear the words. He can tell me things like that whenever we meet, and I will be his friend for life.
Cut the hedge in the back garden this afternoon. Pleased with the result. Nice to see the hedge is growing well to fill the holes and gaps. If you want a quick result, I won't recommend hedges and lawns for your garden. Have been looking after the hedges and laws for 5 years and now see everything getting into better shapes. Easier to have fences and paved ground, but after making some efforts on hedges and lawns, I would be very upset of my landlord decides to remove them. They are my precious babies.
Soooooooooooooooo knackered after climbing the step ladder so many times. My arm is aching and the right wrist is a bit sore. Need a very long bath to relax the muscles tonight. Hope will be able to get out of bed without screaming in the morning.
