Hopped on a bus and went to a shopping centre with my girls today (My girls' school is off today and tomorrow.) For a bit of a retail therapy, of course. Got some cheapy jewelries, a CD, a DVD and clothes. Also had lunch at a cafe and ice cream. Walking to a big clothes shop across the car park, we met C and her mother H by chance. Never imagined that we would see them there. Because they live far away from us (20 minute by car). Nice surprise, indeed.
After coming back from the shopping, managed to get the back of the shed sorted at last. Never planned to do any gardening today because was out of the town. But was just in the mood. Somehow moved and set up all the parts of a stone bench and the parts of stone bird bath. Couldn't carry any of them because they were too heavy even for me. Pulled and turned them instead. Needed the engineer and workers who made the pyramids, then I would have had the stones moved without a struggle. Anyway, pleased with the result. Now can sit and read in the garden quietly when the weather is good.
Later found an email in my inbox telling me about a translation of a slide show. Had to reply to him, "Thanks, but I haven't got this slide show yet". Then, the missing email with the slide show turned up in my Inbox 6 hours late!!! Why does this has to happen?? The email must have taken an aeroplane instead of travelling through phone lines.
