Just spoke to a man who dealt with environmental health at the local council. About my noisy neighbour, of course. He will send out a sheet to record the details of future noises to me and also a complaint letter to the next-door (no details of me in it).
Glad that I spoke to the man. I feel better when knowing that somebody can help me somehow. The next-door's landlord hasn't even given us his phone number even though he told my hubby and a girl the other side of his house that he would. He can't be reliable, I'm sure. He always gave me an impression of cold money-grabbing snob, anyway. So, I'll see how the letter to the council will affect the noise from the next door.
