My wee one barged into my bedroom when I was still in bed this morning. A phone call from little G's mum. Lucky that my girl took a message and I didn't need to jump out of bed. little G's mum will take my girls for lunch today. Great. But my weekend lie-in was ruined again. I'm still dreaming of a very long quiet undisturbed lie-in, which I haven't had for years.
Ripped myself out of bed after half an hour (around 10am) and went out to get newspaper. While trying to wake up with a cup of strong tea, little G and her mum called... Her mum asked me to keep her child while she went for grocery shopping. Of course that's fine especially because little G's granny is not well. I'm happy to help even when I'm sleep-walking. You wouldn't believe how quickly I tidied the living room!
Now I am having the third cuppa of the day because I'm still half asleep. I must treat myself and have something yummy for lunch. But what can I have?? I wish somebody would make me something to eat... (NO chance.) Even a simple sandwich will be greatly appreciated!!
I'm off for a fourth cuppa...
