Went to a supermarket with my girls for grocery shopping at lunchtime. Some of the schools in and around the town had finished the half-term holiday yesterday, so there weren't many kids. But somehow we spotted many babies. My girls (especially the wee one) adores babies and fell in love with a baby in front of the queue at check-out. My wee one kept nagging me (with a loud voice) that she wanted a baby brother while I was packing the stuff at the till. She has two chances - none of them are very good.
Bought stuff for Indian curries because my girls wanted poppadoms. Been a long time since I bought a jar of cooking sauce. But it tasted alright at teatime. Nice change and good that my girls can enjoy mild curries. Must cook Indian curry regularly from now on.
Little G was at our house this afternoon (again). Whenever she is here, she asks for food. (I'm always happy to feed her.) Today, she wanted blue cheese with crackers. Not many 4 year-olds ask for blue cheese, don't they. (Yes, she got what she wanted, plus a glass of juice and a slice of buttered white bread with honey.)
