Spent a nice but strange weekend for a change. Since the end of last year all I had been doing during weekends were either working, ironing school uniforms, grocery shopping and other shitty chores mostly. (I should be guaranteed to go to hell if I were a Christian.) But this weekend started with an impulsive creative writing (goodness knows why I started writing this piece, but I had to write), and then spending a whole evening watching TV with my girls (well, it was a Eurovision Song Contest night...), and then baked blondies (white version of brownies) and corn breads. Pretty nice, indeed.
Maybe I'm getting used to the new work schedule, which I made up for my health and efficiency of work. Now I very seldom think about work during the weekend, which seems relaxing my body and mind. I must admit that the house and the gardens are still messy. But it seems my everyday life is improving a bit. (I'm still waiting for a handsome caring witty slave to arrive at the front door, though... Maybe it's more realistic to wish for a magic wand for housework, instead?
