Went to the town for a packet of hoover bags. And came home with one and also loads of frozen food. Typical.
I also went into a charity shop which sells the best 2nd-hand books. I avoided the shop for about 2 months (so that I wouldn't spend all my money on books which I might not read), so there were quite many different books on the shelves. Lovely. Got a hardback Matilda by Roald Dahl for my kids. (They love the film.) And got a bilingual edition of Poems by François Villon (very interesting man) and Japanese Nō Dramas (Penguin Classics). Never tried to find all these books. They found me!
