Got an reply from David this morning. Good that he still remembered me. About 2 weeks ago, I emailed him to point out the non-existent border control on the island of Ireland (between the North and the South) after reading his weekly column in The Sun. He told me today, "I will follow this up". Well, he wrote it in black and white, so he'd better follow it up! I'm pleased with myself to have informed him of a massive hole on the British border control. (He can employ me as an adviser any time, if he has plenty of money to waste!)
I still find the correspondences between him and me are rather amusing. I don't support Labour Party (he doesn't know that but it doesn't matter) and I don't have a right to vote in this country. But at least I can let my opinions known to a person who can really do something about the issues. I mean, a person who can change the laws. Well, I'm just a loud-mouth who loves occasional political ranting.
I told my girls that I got an reply from David and they were disappointed that he didn't invite us for tea this time. My wee one said, "I want that chocolate cake again! It was lovely." Typical child. (Well, I wouldn't mind a free cuppa again, though...)
