Went back to the art centre where my girls took an course from Monday to Friday. To collect their masterpieces which had wet paint on the final day (yesterday). The staff have been so nice that my girls love the art centre. Found out that their teacher also works in a supermarket's deli counter. Now I know why I had thought her face was familiar. She served me at the counter for a few times!! My girls are so happy that they know where to find her in the town. It's a small world.
Popped in a market next-door afterwards. Strangely this is the only place I know in the town where I can buy fresh beetroots. It's been a long time since I went to the market. Actually I avoided the place because my hubby was a regular there and even had a stall before, which means too many people know him there. I didn't feel like buying a bunch of beetroots because he used to get a bunch for me on the way home. (Yeah, I got a bunch of beetroots instead of flowers. Lovely.) But of course I bought a bunch today. I like cooking and eating beetroots. (Not ready-cooked ones or bottled ones.) Now what should I do with them? Soup? Salad? Oh, no, I don't have soured cream in the house...
