Went to a supermarket this morning with my girls. Just to grab a few necessary things. (That's if you count ice lollies and custard cream biscuits as necessary.) Nice to have extra hands to carry the shopping home. (Any more volunteers? I'll give you ice lollies if I'm in a very generous mood.)
Came across a man I hadn't seen for ages. The last time I saw him was in winter and he was wearing a heavy coat and a flat cap. Nice to say hello to him again. And nice to know that he recognised us alright. I had thought that he passed away or moved out of the area. Please don't ask me who he is. I still don't know who he is and where he lives. I wonder if he knows my parents-in-law...
