Looking though books and files on a shelf inside a kitchen cupboard this afternoon, to find a missing biscuit recipe booklet by chance. It fell from a scrap book I had lifted. Good thing comes without a warning!
I had not been able to find the booklet for 3-4 months, which made me feel really bad. Because it has many good, simple recipes and one of them was my hubby's favourite short cakes. Of course he hasn't got a mouth to eat any more, but you know, I didn't like the thought of not being able to make the thing with loads of good memories.
Still wondering how I could not have found it. I looked everywhere on the shelf, even opening all the books and files to see if the small booklet was hidden inside. I looked for it again and again, you know. I remember I looked the scrapbook inside out. Then, this afternoon, when I was not looking for it, the missing booklet suddenly appears in front of me like a magic!
I must bake at least 2 different biscuits from the booklet to celebrate. But it's one of the hottest day in summer and the kitchen is already like inside an oven... Oh, what should I do?? (Well, whatever you tell me, I think I will end up baking something later on.)
