Bought a set of tins for storing bread, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar. Because, while looking for photo frames in a shop this morning, I realised that I hadn't got any proper bread bin since we moved in this house just over 4 years ago! Amazing that I, who love baking bread, had been without a bread bin for such a long time! Rolls were always in big air-tight plastic containers and a bag of sliced loaves from shops were wandering on the worktops, looking lost and uneasy. Of course I had kept thinking that I needed a bread bin. But always forgot to buy one once I got out of the house.
Any way, now my kitchen looks neat and tidy (a little bit). One good thing about the new tins is, that the biscuit one is so hard for my girls to open that they might opt for a piece of fruit for a snack instead of biscuits! Well, I guess they will learn to open the tin easily somehow in a week or so...
By the way, I didn't find any nice photo frames at the shop.
