Baked bagels this afternoon. The last time I did such a thing was... about 18-24 months ago? My bagels were always one of our family favourite and my late neighbour liked them, too. I kept saying to myself that I would make bagels soon. But I always ended up making less time-consuming breads and "soon" has become such a long period.
This time, bagels tasted as good, but somehow I found it easier to make them. How could I buy bagels in shops again after tasting these home-made ones!!
