I'm catching up with the latest technology. Bought a digital camera this morning (at last!). Now I feel I'm a part of the 21st century. Scared with the thickness of the user's manual just after opening the package. But of course I didn't read every page. It's dead easy to use, so I'm hoping that my kids won't take the camera away from me. (Will you see, there'll be some arguments in this house in another day or two!)
One question to Samsung. Why did you put 2 manuals (English and French) in the box? Neither UK or Ireland has many French-speaking people. Each copy is 7mm thick. (Yes, I measured them.) Think of the money and the amount of paper you are wasting!!! You could have charged me at least 50p cheaper without the French manual! (Well, maybe I should start learning a bit of French with this manual... It would be better for me if the 2nd manual was in German.)
Last but not least, thanks a million to my friend A, who helped me choose the camera. I don't think I would have chosen this lovely one without his advice. Now what should I do? I've already owed him for many other things.
